THE BRAND’S POINT OF VIEW

basaho: origin & history.

After returning to London, Tarun began working on meditation cushions and sewed the first samples in his living room. That hands-on beginning shaped basaho’s focus on simple accessories for a regular sitting practice. Its collection combines cushions and other supports with removable textile covers. The Classic Zafu explains the approach through a round pleated form, loose buckwheat-hull filling and a handle: details that make a substantial cushion easier to adjust, clean and move.

BEFORE YOU EXPLORE

A closer look.

What catches our eye.

The removable cover and adjustable filling are the useful details here. The quiet Stone colour allows the cushion to stay visible in a room without making it feel like a dedicated equipment space.
