Your privacy.
What we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible?
Jeremy MUSELET, Paris, France, is responsible for personal data processed for Selezio. You can reach him through the contact form, choosing “My account or personal data”.
Your account & selection
We use your email, account name and authentication information to create and secure your account. Saved brands, products and Taste choices let us provide My Selezio and personalised discovery. These processing activities are necessary to provide the account features you request.
Account and selection data are retained while your account is active, until you request deletion, subject to any legal retention requirements. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider; the website uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in.
When you contact us or apply as a brand
Your name, email, topic and message are used to answer your request and follow up on corrections or enquiries. Brand applications also include the brand name, website, country of origin, category, your role and the introduction or product information you choose to share. These details are used for editorial review and follow-up, without guaranteeing a listing. Required fields are marked by the form validation; without an email and message we cannot process the request.
This processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries. Messages are accessible to the publisher and necessary technical service providers, and are automatically removed from the website’s contact inbox after 12 months. A matter requiring longer retention may be kept separately where necessary to resolve it or meet a legal obligation. Contact messages are not used to subscribe you to marketing.
Cookies & local preferences
Essential storage supports sign-in, security and preferences you choose, including your local discovery choices and analytics preference. The session cookie expires after seven days unless renewed by signing in. Local preferences remain until you clear them in your browser.
Google Analytics is optional and loads only if you accept analytics. You can change your choice using “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Refusing analytics does not prevent discovery or use of My Selezio.
Technical providers
Hostinger hosts the web application and contact inbox. Supabase provides database and account authentication services. Cloudflare supports DNS and web delivery. Google provides analytics if you accept it. When email notifications are enabled, Resend delivers contact messages to the publisher’s inbox. These services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area under their applicable data-protection arrangements.

Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data and, where applicable, portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw analytics consent at any time. Contact the publisher with enough information to identify the relevant account or request.
If your concern remains unresolved, you may complain to the French supervisory authority, the CNIL ↗︎, or the relevant authority where you live.
Brand websites
When you follow an external brand link, that website’s own privacy policy applies. Selezio does not receive your payment or order details from merely linking to a brand.
