Bearaby is a New York rest brand founded by Kathrin Hamm, recognised for open-knit weighted blankets whose large loops become part of the room’s texture.

Kathrin Hamm launched Bearaby’s first weighted-bedding collection in December 2018. A personal interest in the feeling of resting under weight developed into a design-led collection, with blankets meant to remain visible on a sofa or bed. Cotton Napper became its recognisable form. Rather than hiding the construction inside a conventional duvet, it uses thick knitted loops, leaving the weight and the open structure visually connected.
