Get to know Curaprox.
Curaprox grew out of Curaden’s dental business in Switzerland. Hans Breitschmid had established his dental distribution company in Lucerne in 1954; the corporate timeline records the launch of the consumer brand in 1972 and the move to a larger headquarters in Kriens in 1981. Curaprox’s visual identity gives specialised everyday tools a particularly visible place in the bathroom. Colour separates handles and filaments, while compact heads and octagonal grips make the shape of the brush immediately recognisable. The collection extends to interdental tools, toothpaste and electric toothbrushes, with each object designed around a distinct task. Artist editions add another layer: for the Love Edition 2026, Kia Schwaninger takes inspiration from gemstones, translating their colour and faceted forms into the packaging and two-brush palette. It is a way of bringing illustration into an ordinary daily routine without changing the underlying brush format.

What catches our eye.
Curaprox makes a small, familiar tool visually distinctive. The interest lies in the relationship between a precise grip, a dense brush head and an unusually expressive palette.
