Sophie Platts founded Floks in Yorkshire in 2021, taking wool as the starting point for a bedding collection. The brand’s later Wool Store gave that material story a physical home in North Yorkshire. Its pillows make the construction particularly visible: a quilted outer case opens to reveal layers of carded wool that can be removed and rearranged. Rather than hiding the filling permanently inside a sealed object, Floks lets the user adjust it. The British Wool pillow connects the brand’s regional identity to a practical, hands-on detail of everyday bedding.
