Flower Mountain’s story dates the project to 2015 and names Tokyo’s Keisuke Ota and Beijing’s Yang Chao as its creators. Japanese craft references, outdoor interests and city colour inform the collection. Yamano brings those ideas into overlapping panels, trekking-style laces and a shaped outsole, with individual colourways changing the balance of the design.

The contrasting panels make construction part of the decoration. Navy gives the trekking references an everyday setting, while the shaped eyelets and sole keep the outline distinctive.
