THE BRAND’S POINT OF VIEW

Good & Proper Tea: origin & history.

Emilie Holmes began Good & Proper Tea with a 1974 Citroën H van converted into a mobile tea bar through crowdfunding. Its first cup was served in Shoreditch, London, on 3 December 2012. The project grew from a simple frustration: tea deserved the same care as a well-made coffee. Loose leaves, measured infusions and clearly described origins remain central. Its South African rooibos extends that approach to a caffeine-free cup with enough body to take a little milk.
