hejhej is a German yoga-equipment brand founded by Anna Souvignier and Sophie Zepnik, with a distinctive speckled mat made from recovered foam materials.

hejhej: origin & history.
Anna Souvignier and Sophie Zepnik met while studying sustainability management in Sweden. An artwork by Pinar Yoldas in Gothenburg prompted them to reconsider the materials in yoga equipment, and their first mat reached the market in 2018. The German brand subsequently added blocks, bags and textile supports. The original hejhej-mat remains the clearest introduction to its material approach, with visible flecks of recovered foam giving each surface a slightly different appearance.
