Emiel Hetsen and Sander Klaver joined forces in 2008 around an interest in vintage objects and interiors with character. HKliving’s 70s Ceramics line makes that reference visible through colour and glaze rather than strict reproduction. The Tidal coffee mug has a simple handleless body with a surface the brand compares to a raw coastline. Variation between pieces is expected, so the collection works through related colours and textures rather than perfect matches.
