Holistic Silk: origin & history.

Joanna Weakley describes creating Holistic Silk in a North West London flatshare at the turn of the millennium. A lavender eye pillow was the first product; masks, travel accessories and other textiles followed. The business later moved to Boscastle in Cornwall, while its origin remains London. Colour, silk and ribbon fastenings give the collection a distinctive character, closer to a personal textile accessory than a piece of equipment. The Unscented Silk Eye Mask offers a particularly simple expression of that approach. Its two silk faces and velvet ties retain the house’s tactile language, while omitting the lavender filling found in other designs.
