Intelligent Change: origin & history.
A conversation between Alex Ikonn and UJ Ramdas led to the first Five Minute Journal in June 2013. Their idea was to make a lengthy writing practice approachable through a small set of repeated prompts. The Canadian beginnings later developed into an international collection, now extending from journals to planners and conversation tools. Original Linen preserves the central format: a physical book opened twice a day, with space for gratitude, intentions and reflection. Its interest lies in the modest scale of the gesture and the continuity of a familiar page.

A guided journal can give a quiet pause a tangible structure. The English-language prompts suit someone who prefers a brief repeated format to an entirely blank notebook.
