Monsoon Tea: origin & history.
Kenneth Rimdahl and Vorakarn Wongfu, known as Aek, started Monsoon Tea in Chiang Mai in 2012, opening the first shop the following year. Its story follows tea grown in northern Thailand and the people who process it. Since 2014, the brand has worked with the women-led Dhara tea team in Mae Hong Son. Dhara Artisanal Green gives that relationship a specific expression: a green tea presented in a small tin, with a preparation measured in grams and minutes. The origin and processing story remain part of the pleasure of making the cup.
