Nodpod: origin & history.
Four small compartments give Nodpod its recognisable outline. The Californian, female-founded brand reconsiders the eye mask as a softly weighted object that can lie across the face, rather than relying on an elastic band around the head. Its range now extends to other weighted textiles and silk accessories, but the original mask remains a clear expression of the idea. Cotton, fleece and small polyethylene beads make up a construction whose interest is tactile and practical. We selected Wisteria, a muted lilac colour, for a non-medical rest ritual.
