Palais des Thés: origin & history.
The house began in 1986 with around forty friends, including François-Xavier Delmas; its first shop opened the following year. Delmas’s approach was to learn about tea by meeting the people who grew and made it, then share those discoveries with drinkers. The collection developed across origin teas and scented blends, while the École du Thé opened in 1999. Thé du Hammam dates from 1998. Its combination of green tea, flower petals and aromas evokes a different side of the house, alongside its work with individual tea gardens.

What catches our eye.
There are several ways into the collection: a particular growing region, a style of tea or a scented blend. Thé du Hammam suits the last approach. Its aromatic notes should be understood as flavours, without assuming that every fruit named in the tasting description is present as a piece of fruit.
