Latvia’s linen tradition provides the textile starting point for Pranamat. The brand began there in 2009 and describes an approach built around hand assembly, textured cloth and a repeating lotus-shaped massage element. Those flower-like pieces are functional rather than a printed ornament: each carries pointed petals that create pressure where the body rests. The Classic set combines a rectangular mat with a pillow. Beneath the linen, coconut fibre gives the mat its structure and buckwheat hulls fill the pillow. The Olive version shows how this strongly tactile object can share a room with ordinary cushions, while keeping a very different surface and use.
