Purasana: origin & history.
The story starts with Biovita, the natural-food shop Raf De Jonckheere opened in Komen in 1977. After the business moved to Ieper in 1999, Purasana emerged as its own brand in 2003. Those dates describe different stages: the shop came before the branded collection. Today the Belgian range includes powders that move easily between drinks and cooking. Cacao Powder keeps the ingredient list especially direct, with cacao from Peru. Preparing it with a chosen drink makes quantity, texture and flavour part of a small kitchen ritual.

What catches our eye.
Plain cacao leaves sweetness and the mixing liquid to your taste. It is an ingredient for a prepared drink or recipe, not an instant sweetened chocolate mix.
