Get to know reMarkable.
The idea began with a familiar contradiction: paper can be a useful place to think, but notebooks accumulate and loose pages become difficult to find. Magnus Wanberg founded reMarkable in 2013 to bring handwriting and digital organisation together. The first paper tablet arrived in 2017, followed by reMarkable 2 in 2020 and Paper Pro in 2024. Paper Pro Move, launched in September 2025, takes the colour-screen format into a smaller device. The company’s Oslo base and deliberately restrained hardware give the range a coherent identity. A textured writing surface, magnetic Marker and document folders make the relationship between hand, page and file the central subject. The optional Connect service adds cloud and software features to that physical tool.

A few pieces tell the story in their own way, through a shape, a material or a familiar gesture.
A closer look.
What catches our eye.
reMarkable belongs alongside objects for a considered workspace: its interest lies in the gesture of writing and in the small number of visible controls. The compact Move makes that approach portable. Screen format, stylus choice and the software features included with or without Connect matter more than a long list of general tablet functions.
