Liz Sung founded SAMAYA in New York in 2016, approaching meditation cushions as objects to live with rather than equipment to hide away. The label combines decorative fabrics with traditional loose-hull fillings and now makes its cushions in Los Angeles. Its round seats and larger floor sets create different ways of arranging a quiet corner. The Velvet Blush Deluxe Round Cushion keeps the essentials of the collection: a removable outer cover, a rounded profile and a filling with a little dried lavender.
