Scoria
Scoria is a Canadian yoga and meditation brand founded by artist and teacher Yara Kamal, bringing illustration and a playful sensibility to everyday practice.
Scoria: origin & history.
Yara Kamal launched Scoria in 2017 after a creative project exploring the imagination of childhood. Illustrated cork yoga mats gave that idea its first practical form. The Canadian house later developed cushions, blankets and other practice accessories. Its Crescent cushion offers a quieter expression of the same world: a soft green cotton surface, a curved outline and a loose-hull filling rather than a rigid moulded seat.
