Sensate

Sensate grew from Stefan Chmelik’s work in London and his partnership with Anna Gudmundson, pairing a palm-sized vibration device with app-based audio.

THE BRAND’S POINT OF VIEW

Sensate: origin & history.

Sensate’s development began with Stefan Chmelik’s work in a London practice, where he wanted to make a large sound-and-vibration setup into a portable object. He partnered with technology executive Anna Gudmundson to develop and launch the brand. The resulting device has the shape of a smooth pebble and works with audio from a phone app. Its identity lies in that pairing of touch and listening: a small, dedicated object used during a deliberate pause. Sensate 2 is the central product to understand the collection. The basic device and sound library form one offer, while Plus packs add subscription content; those versions should be compared before purchase.

A closer look.

What catches our eye.
