Somnox

Somnox began as an engineering project in Delft, the Netherlands, turning a breathing rhythm into a soft moving object that can be held during a quiet pause.

THE BRAND’S POINT OF VIEW

Somnox: origin & history.

The Somnox project started in Delft in 2016, when a team of engineers explored how a soft object could convey a breathing rhythm through movement. Julian Jagtenberg and Stijn Antonisse became central figures in the Dutch company’s development. The original larger companion led to Somnox Pro and, later, the smaller Go. Designed for holding close or carrying between places, Go continues the inflatable movement principle in a more compact form. The brand now designs in Rotterdam while keeping its Delft beginnings distinct from its later business base.
