Carla Oates developed The Beauty Chef after working as a beauty writer and experimenting with fermentation in her kitchen. GLOW, first launched in 2009, became the starting point of the Australian house. The collection subsequently expanded while retaining fermentation as a recurring part of its formulation approach. The current GLOW formula includes a bio-fermented plant blend and a Hyaluronic Complex, making it important to distinguish the present product from earlier versions of the same name.
