Trtl: origin & history.
Michael Corrigan and David Kellock began with the awkwardness of sleeping upright while travelling. Their Scottish project approached the problem through structure rather than an oversized cushion. The original Trtl wraps fleece around an internal support, with the outside fastening like a scarf. The brand describes its launch in 2013, followed by a wider collection of travel accessories. Its first pillow remains the clearest expression of the idea: a compact object that can be unwrapped, positioned and adjusted before being packed away for the next journey.
