YogaTribe
YogaTribe is a New Zealand yoga brand founded by graphic designer and teacher Coka Klug. Its mats bring tactile jute surfaces together with geometric designs and a community-led approach to practice. Metatron Red Wine pairs a wine-coloured surface with a gold geometric motif.
YogaTribe: origin & history.
Coka Klug brought her background in graphic design and yoga teaching into YogaTribe, established in New Zealand in 2016. In an early interview, she described the mat as a canvas for visual communication and a way to gather people around practice. Geometric patterns remain central to the collection, including Metatron, Ray and Flower of Life. A community gathering marked the brand’s official relaunch in June 2026, alongside the return of its mats. Metatron Red Wine continues the visual language through a textured jute surface and gold printed geometry, supported by the synthetic material the brand calls PER.
