Yogi Peace Club: origin & history.
Emma Barr started Yogi Peace Club in 2014 near Bells Beach, drawing on her experience as a yoga teacher. Her own account places community and the practice itself at the beginning of the brand, with patterned clothing and mats developing together. The collection ranges from printed microfibre mats to the different construction of the Deluxe line. Deluxe Spice uses an etched polyurethane surface over natural rubber, with a central design that gives the mat a clear orientation. This is a practical expression of the label’s graphic identity, whether a session takes place at home or in a studio.

Deluxe Spice Yoga Mat · 5 mm →
Deluxe Spice is a 5 mm yoga mat measuring 185 × 68 cm and weighing approximately 3 kg. An etched polyurethane top sits over a natural-rubber base; it is a different surface from Yogi Peace Club’s printed microfibre range. The brown Spice colour carries a sun and alignment-inspired artwork. A carry strap is included. Before first use, wipe the surface with a clean damp cloth and let it dry completely. Marks from body oils and perspiration can develop on this type of finish. Its length and width offer more room to position your hands and feet, while the weight deserves consideration for frequent travel.

Yoga Bolster · Velvet Chai →
Yogi Peace Club’s Velvet Chai bolster gives floor practice a long, rounded support with a warm brown short-pile velvet cover. It is hand-filled with a cotton-and-silk mix and measures approximately 77 cm long by 22 cm in diameter, at around 1 kg. The cylindrical form adds height beneath the body in yoga, Yin or meditation positions. A carry handle makes it easier to move, and the zipped cover can be removed for washing. This is the bolster alone; the mat shown in the practice photograph is separate.
A closer look.
What catches our eye.
The patterns have a place in the movement rather than serving only as decoration. Consider the mat’s extra width and three-kilogram weight if you plan to carry it to class regularly.
