Fischersund’s Flotholt draws on Iceland’s cold ocean, with spruce and citrus moving into cypress, salt and seaweed, then smoke, ambergris and musk. First introduced for the 2022 Sigur Rós tour, its name refers to a rescue ring. This 50 ml eau de parfum is the new bottle design, not the separate solid version. It broadens the house’s selection beyond No. 23 with a different marine, smoky composition.

No. 23 Solid Perfume places Fischersund’s harbour-inspired fragrance in a hand-treated, hand-stamped tin. Bergamot and black pepper lead into cypress and Siberian fir, while birch tar and patchouli contribute a darker woody base. Meadowfoam seed oil, jojoba oil and candelilla wax form the solid carrier listed by the maker. This 0.35 oz version is made in Iceland. Applied by touch rather than spray, it offers a different gesture from the liquid perfume and slips easily into a small bag.
