Giorno e Notte Table Clock

Sun and moon share a face on Giorno e Notte. Fornasetti sets the two profiles against black, white and gold, turning a small desk clock into a graphic play between daylight and darkness. The hand-decorated ceramic body stands on a desk, shelf or bedside table, with a 15 cm dial and 6.4 cm depth. Small differences in decoration belong to its artisanal production. This is the freestanding table clock, rather than one of the larger wall-clock formats.
