Aim Floor Light by Smart Design — Carbon, Black Rod

Smart Design’s Aim floor light brings an adjustable shade within reach of a lounge chair. Its compact 48-inch height and narrow 8-inch footprint suit a reading corner, with the head directing light onto a book or nearby work. The Carbon finish and black rod make its tapered shade and matching base feel precise and unobtrusive. Gantri makes the shade using its sugarcane-based PlantPolymers in California, with a water-based finish. This is a floor-standing task light with an adjustable head, so its useful position depends on where you sit.
