Birds Water Glass — Blue Bird

A small blue bird perches on an amber branch that passes through the clear glass wall. Tomoko Mizu’s Birds water glass puts a delicate sculpted detail at the edge of a familiar drinking vessel, leaving the rest of the form almost plain. Handmade and flame-worked in borosilicate glass, it stands 9 cm high with a diameter of 7.5 cm and a stated 320 ml capacity. This is one Blue Bird water glass, distinct from the taller long-drink version. It can go in the dishwasher at low temperature, with 40°C recommended; avoid boiling water, high heat and the microwave.
