Workshop W3 — Matte Black

A broad metal shade directs light downwards in the Workshop W3. A. Wedel-Madsen's design began as a practical lamp for craftspeople in Danish workshops in the 1950s; the clear stepped outline still gives it an industrial character. The Matte Black version has a spun-aluminium shade, 35 cm across and 24 cm high, with a three-metre cord and canopy. An E27 bulb is required separately; the fitting accepts a maximum of 60 W and is rated IP20 for dry interiors.
