Gump Ball Algae is a translucent squeeze ball measuring 6 cm across. A soft TPR shell surrounds a maltose-based filling, which offers resistance before the ball slowly recovers its shape. Squeeze with the palm rather than pulling, puncturing or stretching the shell. Wash with soap and water, let it dry and use a little cornstarch if the surface becomes sticky. Keep it away from extreme heat and cold, including hot cars, freezers and microwaves. Discard it if it leaks or splits; the filling must not be eaten.
