Africa 5580 — Terra Dark, 45 cm

Africa makes a portable task light from a slender cone of aluminium and a small angled head. Francisco Gomez Paz's design replaces the articulated arm of a desk lamp with a compact object that can be picked up and moved. The 5580 version stands 45 cm high; Terra Dark gives its matte lacquered surface a warm terracotta colour. A button on the head selects three brightness levels, with stated battery life of 20 hours at one-third intensity, 10 hours at two-thirds and 6.5 hours at full output. Its 2700 K LED shines through a polycarbonate diffuser. The format is one 5580 lamp. IP20 means indoor, dry use.

Mayfair Table Lamp — Warm White →

The warm-white Mayfair table lamp brings a conical shade, slim stem and compact base into one restrained outline. Diego Fortunato’s design borrows the familiarity of a traditional shaded lamp while making the proportions lighter. Its dimmable LED light can be adjusted for the surrounding room. Specify the table configuration and warm-white finish rather than the related floor or hanging models.
