AAMI AAMI Plate — 27 cm
Yellow dots and orange rays run across a deep green field on the AAMI AAMI plate. Yinka Ilori translates the sun into a strong geometric composition, giving a meal an expressive frame even before food is served. The 27 cm stoneware plate is hand-moulded and individually finished in Portugal; its slightly irregular outline contrasts with the precise pattern. It is suitable for both the dishwasher and microwave, making the artwork part of everyday table use.
