BORNN is an Istanbul-founded enamelware brand bringing expressive colour and individually made patterns to everyday table objects.

Sisters Basak Onay and Oyku Thurston founded BORNN in 2015, drawing on their creative backgrounds and experiences in Tokyo, Barcelona and Los Angeles. Istanbul supplied the home base and a link to local making. Their enamelware uses glass fused to heavy-gauge steel, with patterns applied individually rather than printed into identical repeats. The collection makes everyday cups and plates feel more personal through colour, while remaining recognisable functional objects for the table.
