Hugger Mugger: origin & history.
The first products were a strap and a pair of shorts. In 1986, furniture maker and yoga student Sara Chambers brought her own versions to class in Salt Lake City, then began taking orders. From those practical beginnings, Hugger Mugger developed blocks, mats, cushions and bolsters in conversation with the needs of yoga practice. The collection still makes the role of a prop easy to understand. Our Pink Ribbon Standard Bolster follows that line: a substantial rectangular cushion whose dimensions, cover and care matter as much as its colour.

What catches our eye.
The bolster is a useful reminder that movement equipment can also support a quieter practice. We selected this exact Pink Ribbon model rather than transferring the specifications of other bolsters in the range.
