Get to know Kowtow.
Gosia Piątek founded Kowtow in 2006 with a question about where clothing comes from and what happens to it after use. From Aotearoa New Zealand, she developed a design language of generous volumes, practical details and cotton fabrics. The brand describes its commitment to certified Fairtrade organic cotton as a way of following the material from growing to garment. That focus is visible in the clothes themselves: a checked weave, a crisp poplin or a quilted surface can give a simple shape its character. Its stores extend the same interest in natural texture and calm space.
