A glazed rim can give an otherwise simple cup its character. OYOY’s Yuka series works with a transparent reactive glaze whose brown edge develops during firing. The cups are made by hand, so colour and finish vary rather than repeating an identical printed pattern. The shape is intended for coffee or tea and belongs to a wider family of plates and bowls, allowing a table to be assembled through related surfaces.
