Tommaso Cimini’s Daphine family treats the arm, joint and light head as a compact system. The Cloe version replaces the original lamp’s more technical-looking base with a flat one. As the light source changed, that base came to house LED electronics rather than the earlier transformer. It is a small example of a design language being adapted through its engineering.
