Moira Merrithew and Lindsay G. Merrithew began their Toronto business in 1988, connecting Pilates teaching with the development of equipment. Moira’s background as a professional dancer informed the movement practice that became STOTT PILATES. The company later expanded its education programmes and equipment range under the Merrithew name. Fitness Circle Pro belongs to the smaller-scale side of that collection: a spring-steel ring with inner and outer grips, bringing adjustable hand and leg positions into an accessory that can move between a mat and the studio.
