Naoki Matcha

Naoki Matcha connects a Singapore-founded tea business with producers across Japan. Its focus is practical and approachable: choosing a regional blend and learning how to whisk it into tea or a latte.

THE BRAND’S POINT OF VIEW

Naoki Matcha: origin & history.

Chiam Sing Chuen and Samuel Loo founded Naoki Matcha in 2015 as international interest in matcha was accelerating. Rather than treating all green powders as interchangeable, the business developed relationships with tea estates, processing facilities and blenders in Japan. Its early online sales grew into separate storefronts serving the United States and Asia. Superior Blend, sourced from Uji in Kyoto, expresses that introductory role: a mellow matcha presented for both tea and milk-based preparations, alongside more region-specific blends.
