NORR11
NORR11 works with sculptural furniture and contrasting materials. Hippo Steel sets a rounded upholstered seat and back on a lighter tubular steel frame.

Get to know NORR11.
The Hippo family is recognizable by its rounded upholstered volumes. For the Steel version, NORR11 keeps the seat and back but changes the support beneath them, replacing the wooden structure with a thinner steel frame. That shift changes the balance between softness and line without erasing the chair’s character. Brushed stainless-steel legs, a plywood seat structure and cut foam describe the construction; upholstery remains a separate choice.

A closer look.
What catches our eye.
The thin frame leaves space around the upholstered volumes. It is a different visual weight from the wooden Hippo, not merely another colour.
