Maja and Samuel Norburg founded Pholc in Sweden in 2015. The lighting house works through collaborations, allowing a collection to move between restrained metal forms and more expressive volumes. Material, proportion and the effect of light all shape the object, rather than treating the shade as decoration around a technical core. Pendants, table lamps and wall lights offer different ways to bring that approach into a room. Apollo expresses it through a clear meeting of conical forms, where the lamp remains visually present even when switched off.
