Founded in Switzerland in 2008, QWSTION begins with questions about how an everyday bag is designed, made and used. Its development of Bananatex brings material research into the visible character of the collection: woven surfaces, soft structure and pared-back organisation. The bags are conceived for changes of pace between work and other parts of the day. Material choices still need to be read product by product: plant-based fabric does not mean that every lining, trim or fastening has the same composition.
