THE BRAND’S POINT OF VIEW

Rare Tea Company: origin & history.

Henrietta Lovell founded Rare Tea Company in London in 2004, building the house around loose leaves and relationships with tea producers. Its range moves between familiar styles and less widely encountered origins, with the farm and the way a tea is made central to each account. Taiwanese Golden Lily Milk Oolong illustrates that interest in craft: its creamy character comes from the leaf and its processing, with nothing added to create the milky aroma.

BEFORE YOU EXPLORE

A closer look.

What catches our eye.

Repeated short infusions are part of this tea’s appeal. The leaves unfold gradually, giving a reason to return to the same small pot rather than treating tea as a single hurried cup.
