Get to know SHIRO.
SHIRO’s story begins in Hokkaido, where a souvenir business worked with local herbs before developing ingredients and cosmetics for other companies. In 2009, the team created its own brand to bring those products directly to customers. Sake lees, kombu and botanical oils became part of its vocabulary, alongside fragrances with deliberately familiar names. The contrast is distinctive: a pared-back bottle can contain an elaborate scent, while an everyday ingredient can become the starting point for a care ritual. Savon expresses that connection between simplicity of presentation and detail in formulation.

What catches our eye.
Look beyond the white bottle: the interest lies in how a recognisable everyday smell is rebuilt with fruit, flowers and a soft base. Savon is a skin fragrance rather than a fabric spray.
