Peter Luong founded Song Tea & Ceramics in 2013 with a close focus on tea sourcing and the objects used to prepare and drink it. The house takes its name from the Song dynasty and places contemporary ceramics alongside teas whose cultivars and processing are explained in detail. Song Red is its own blend of five cultivars from a garden near Songxi in Fujian. It shows how tea-making decisions can bring different leaves into a coherent cup.
