Viridian
From Daventry in the United Kingdom, Viridian has built a supplement range around a close reading of ingredients since 1999. Amber glass bottles and an independent health-store network give the family business a recognisable identity.

Cheryl Thallon began Viridian with 24 formulations in 1999, after questioning the fillers and processing aids used in supplements. Independent stores in Britain and Ireland supported the first range; that retail relationship remains central to the business. Her daughter Holly now works alongside her in the family company. Magnesium Bisglycinate illustrates the original concern with composition: the mineral form, capsule shell and elemental amount are identified separately, rather than hidden behind a blend name.
