Yui began making candles in her Brooklyn home in summer 2020, initially using tins, dried flowers and essential oils. Her story connects the brand’s playful objects with the Japanese idea of kawaii. After flooding damaged the studio in 2021, community support helped restart production. The current collection includes both scented containers and sculptural candles.
