Pie Plate — Amaro

East Fork's Pie Plate takes its pottery from the breakfast table into the oven. In the warm Amaro glaze, the broad rim and deep sides give a fruit pie a simple earthen frame that can go straight to the table. Made and reduction-fired in Asheville, North Carolina, the lead-free stoneware dish measures 10.5 inches across and 2 inches high. It is oven safe to 450°F, but must stay away from direct flame and stovetops; avoid cold surfaces and standing water while it is hot.
