House Roasted Chu Houjicha — 50 g
Kettl’s House Roasted Chu Houjicha uses mature, late-season tea leaves gathered from small growers across Shizuoka, Japan. Gentle roasting gives the leaves their distinctive brown appearance and brewed character. Kettl describes cooked-sugar sweetness, ripe-berry undertones and a golden-raisin finish; these are the house’s tasting notes. The selected format is a 50 g bag of loose tea, rather than matcha powder or teabags. Brew by infusion, following the preparation guide for the chosen strength. As a tea made from Camellia sinensis, it should not be treated as a caffeine-free herbal infusion.
